One day 3 friends went to rent a hotel room and they paid RM30 for the room, RM10 per person. But the manager decided to give them discount and paid them back RM5. He asked the bellboy to deliver the RM5 to them. On the way to the room, he secretly took RM2 and gave them RM3. Which means, each of them paid RM9, RM9 x 3 = RM27, plus the RM2 from the bellboy is only RM29. Where is the other RM1?

C a...they pay rm30...so meaning each 1 pay rm10.the boss give back rm 5 ...meaning the room is rm25. but bellboy took rm2 and giv only rm 3 to thm. so the room now cost rm 28. 28 plus the 2 ringgit the bellboy took is rm30 lo.
meaning the frens kenot take the money frm bellboy n divide rm1 to each person. they need to ask bk frm the bellboy.

simple. Like boss, like employee. So the boss actually took rm1 out of the total whole.
here's what i think. the missing RM 1 is for room service.
anyway, in the end, the room's rate is not RM30 anymore. but it is rm 27. so rm 27 divided by 3 person equals to rm 9 per person. right?
