I need to get my stuff done...

When I woke up in the morning, I realized I was struggling to open my eyes, then I decided to sleep for a while more as it wouldn't take much of my time.

But then I have to get my stuff done and after a few 5 minutes, I realized I really needed to get up. So, while brushing my teeth I was thinking of the amount of work left undone yesterday night as I was thinking to have enough rest so that I will have energy to get my stuff done today.

But then, I just woke up and washing my face didn't really awake me, so I thought of having breakfast in order to get my stuff done. Then I realized I haven't walked my dog and decided to walk my dog, then breakfast, then get my stuff done.

After walking my dog, I decided to have a quick breakfast, maybe Milo and biscuits will do. But then again, I needed something heavier so that it can last longer and I can have late lunch as I will be very busy in order to get my stuff done in college later. Then I decided on Maggie Mee. But then come to think of it, I shouldn't be eating unhealthy food as my research topic is about unhealthy eating habit. I should eat something else.

Half an hour later, I made myself a sandwich with a piece of cake and a cup of orange juice as I wanted to get rid of my flu completely. Then I realized eating breakfast alone is too boring, so I decided to watch television while eating before I start getting my stuff done. You know, breakfast is really important to get your day kick start.

The television program was too interesting that I was stuck watching it for half an hour without realizing the time. Then I realized I really needed to get back into my room and get my stuff done.

But wait a minute... I needed to get online to check my mails before I get my stuff done. Once I've read my mail, I've decided to on my MSN to reply my friends' sms so that I don't have to use my credit so that I can concentrate to get my stuff done...

In the end, I decided to take short cut (have to pay toll) to college because I was LATE...and I only managed to get half of my stuff done.

Note: I do not do this all the time, just sometime :)

This was inspired by Lev's procrastination. Love his comic series.
It's available in youtube. Just type 'tales of mere existence' ^^

Caveman Language

Have you ever heard of caveman language?

Caveman language is a language spoken by giants or people who have very unique way of speaking English just like caveman, who speaks the English back to the century when none of us were born. Here are a few examples...

"You don't brush your teeth, do you."
"I brush my teeth."
"No, you don't. Your teeth is all yellow and dirty, I can tell that you don't. You're just too lazy to even bother to brush your teeth. I don't even see you brushing it in the morning..." blablabla the nagging continues...until...the giant was so pissed off that he shouted,"I DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" almost teared.

"How to say green in Malay?"
Nobody answered...he repeated...
"How to say hijau in Malay?"

"Ah? How comessss ah?"
"How comesss...."

There you go, hope by now you already have a rough idea what caveman language is all about ;)

p.s: this was strongly inspired by my beloved cousin, Ian Chong..love ya!

Talentime

Watched Talentime with my cousins today to see my cousin, Pamela and my aunty, Susan Chong acting inside. I wasn't really used to seeing such familiar faces inside and I know I was bad for laughing almost everytime my aunty appears. She was a bomb and she was really naturally funny. Probably it was because I know her in person so that adds on to the laughing. Whereas for Pamela, she was good considering a first timer and as the main character.

Anyway, surprisingly this movie made me cried. Not only once, but thrice. At first it was all about common human jokes and a lot about races, religion and culture. But at the end of the day, all human face pain and sorrow despite of joy and happiness. A meaningful movie indeed.

So, if you're a fan of Yasmin Ahmad, you would like this too :)

p.s: Mahesh is really quite good looking and guess what, he's only 19 and 1st time acting; whereas another good looking guy, Kahoe, is only 17 along with Hafiz, together studying in the same school

Japan Trip goes Round About

3 months of research, 2 destinations set (Taiwan then to Japan) equals to 1 trip to look forward, very looking forward...

until my sister's results are out and decided that she cannot make it for local universities. Then she began searching overseas' universities with Dentistry and Nutritionist as options. After days of research and consultations (this consultation involves my whole family including my aunty from Taiwan, my cousin at Singapore and it seems as though any kind of human being was involved, and also any kind of god was involved too...my mom went for Tarrot Cards, palm reading, zhi wei dou shu, temple... and even ask my sister to pray to god...), in the end she has decided on Pharmacy and will be studying in Taiwan. And the worst decision for me, she has decided to save the money for Taiwan and will not be going to Japan with me. After days of dilemma, I decided to give up my Japan trip and push the air ticket (to Taiwan) 2 weeks forward to join Yang, Stephanie and 1 more friend. Ironically, Yang was the one to ask me to join her for the Taiwan trip at the very first place before I've even decided on the Japan trip and I've rejected her and now it's back to square one.

I'm still happy for my plan now, though I was depressed for a day, and now come to think of it, at least I've friends to travel with me and it will be a great graduation trip... Japan, I'll come next year, just you wait!

A Procrastinator Indeed...

After doing Jolene's sruvey, I'm indeed a BIG procrastinator. I don't wish to and I hate to but I can't control it. It's in my blood already...

I wasn't suppose to online once I reached home. Was supposed to revise my Japanese for tomorrow is my Japanese class. Then, I was too lazy to go over to my desktop, plug in my pendrive, on my printer, open my document and print. So, I decided to use a 'smart' way to print it out. I asked my sis to on her msn using the desktop and I send to her. But when I wanted to send, I realized I need to appear online in order to send it over. For the sake of my heavy butt, I chose to remain sitting on my chair and appear online. And when I online, I started to chat with more and more people.

I saw Yang online and I remembered I've something important to ask her. Then Stephanie too. Not long after that, Jolene sent me her survey questions and after doing it, she asked me to ask around. And I asked her to help out mine in return. So, I spent some time busy sending out her link and busy receiving my questionnaires done by her friends. Then, my aunt from Taiwan started to chat with me, asking about my trip and she decided to call me. After that, my cousin Ian started to chat with me, informing me about my cousin's singing competition (congrats Sean, who made it through to final!). Then, not long after that, my aunt in KL called, informing me again about the competition and telling me that she and her family went all the way to Genting to support and how they suffer waiting... Then, I came back to my laptop seeing more people appearing online. I was actually chatting with 10 of them. Then I decided while waiting for Jolene to send me the questionnaires, I chat with some of them. And also, FB a while and explore on how to set an online questionnaire (I gave up in the end knowing it's so troublesome).

After doing a little bit of this and that, it's 10pm, time for me to watch my cousin singing on TV2 (catch Sean competing with others in WorldStar on TV2 every Tuesday). And found out that they are not showing KL this week after half hour past. So, came back to my laptop and saw more questionnaires waiting to be accepted. After accepting all, Lily and Wei Bing came online and chat with me. Then I was busy settling the Earth Hour event with Lily and entertain Wei Bing. Then Ah Kean came and disturb me (my Chinese name wrong already la!) and I chose to ignore him.

Conclusion, I'm stuck here onlining for 2 hours unknowingly which is 4 times more than the time I'm supposed to spend. Just because for the sake of printing one document, made me procrastinate once more. And look what I'm doing now...

BLOGGING!!!

So I'm gonna become a god again tonight...

The One

Opposite PWTC is a shopping mall called...The Mall..and I asked Yang that is there any more random name than this? So should I next time call my own cafe 'The Cafe'? Or should I see any hotel's name in future called 'The Hotel'?

Then Yang liked my joke so much that she kept continuing the joke, "I want to go to The Toilet", "I want to go to The Restaurant" etc etc etc until she insulted a college which is quite true.. "The One Academy"..terrible Yang..I told this to Stephanie and she started off by laughing at Yang's obsession but at the end, she became another Yang. Whatever she saw, she named it as The (something), took a long time for her to get bored of it.

And I regret for saying such crappy thing that day.

Obsession with #plates

We went for a trip some time back and because of boredom and because of my weird observation toward certain things, I started noticing number plates around me while we were in a car. There were lots of number plates with different initial letters. Some W, some J, some B... but these were all too common and well known... what caught my attention was, there were actually unusual letters like A, K, D, C, Q, R, and T. Malaysia's number plate's initial letter represents the state you bought your car from. For example:
W- Wilayah
J- Johor
B- Selangor
M- Melaka
N- Negeri Sembilan
P- Penang

Then I started asking the rest where the cars with odd letters are from. One of them confidently suggested that K is from Kedah/ Kelantan, D is from somewhere in Malaysia, and Q is from Sabah.

After little research of mine, they were quite wrong except for one. Here's the correct answer if you too saw some weird letters and wonder where they come from.

K- Kedah not Kelantan
D- Kelantan, this is only for Kelantan
Q- Sarawak not Sabah
SS- Sabah

There are also...

C- Pahang
R- Perlis
A- Perak
T- Terengganu
L- Labuan

and also... special ones are

H- guess from where...
They're all over on taxis'...
Z- for military usage

They're also specialty plates which costs extra more..how much is the more i guess it's really more...
such as PROTON, LOTUS, WAJA, PUTRAJAYA, SUKOM, PERDANA etc

Next time I'm gonna buy my car at Selangor. Bryan can too. Then Jian Ling can buy at Johor (ask Yang help), Tan Tuan King and Tiffany can buy at Terengganu, Stephanie still searching for it but I suggest go Sabah (ask TTK to help), Angeline can go Perak (ask Tiff to help), Ley Lynn go Labuan, Mei Cher... easy la, go Melaka (ask Jlo buy), Kean go Kedah, Eunice, Wai Ting, O (unless you wanna buy at Perak?) and Yang..can't help..haha

I guessed by now you should be a bit more observant toward number plates? But don't be so obsessive like me. Hope this little info is useful to ur future car :)

p.s: wanna hao lian a while, I've seen all kinds of letters including 'z' but except for certain specialty plates

How Many Days A Week?

Wonder how I spend my time in a week? Which is always not enough..ALWAYS...and I often question myself, why can't I finish all the tasks in a week's time? because...

1 day is for Japanese Day (speak, do homework, revision etc)
1 day is for Assignments Day (do surveys, research, report, presentation etc)
1 day is for Family + Church Day
1 day is for Outing + YC Day (watch movies, L4D, pool etc)
Half day is for Working Day
Half day is for Pillow Talking Day (gossiping about people around us, from A-Z!)
Half day is for Sports Day (Dodgeball, badminton, gym etc)
Half day is for Meeting Day
Half day is for Internet Day (chat, check mail, Facebook, listen to music etc)
and the last half day of the week is only for Resting Day (sleep, day dreaming etc)...

So now you know 7 days a week is so not enough for me...

Someone Taller please...

Today's presentation, the projector was off. Someone has to climb up onto the table and reach for the on button using a pen. The first one is quite short for the button, then lecturer said, "Is there anyone who is taller that can help?"

The taller one stood up and walked toward the table. The taller one was indeed taller, one centimetre taller. I expected someone like Stephanie who is obviously a head taller to go forward, but the taller one who stood up almost immediately was...

Yong Su Cheng, I was sorry for laughing out loud and making the whole class laughed too. Please don't be angry, you knew it was funny too.

And in the end, everyone was relieved especially the lecturer that the projector was finally ON!! All thanks to the someone taller- Stephanie :)

I NEED A BREAK!!!

I've been spending most of my time reading my mails. Mails from Student Council and MAD just can't stop coming into my mail box. Every hour I check, there's something new. There's Earth Hour event for Dodgeball next week (last min informing...wants us to involve and also help promote in all ways we could think of), MAD dinner this Sat (asking me to send from 40 ppl to 200 ppl, hahahaha joke of century...) and Dodgeball League in May (wonder how many pages I need to read). All need me to settle. Then, they even sent me new Student Council logo. WTH!!! I seriously need to speed things up and pass this club to Lily Thong. Wish her luck man.. If I had the time of course I don't mind having so many events ahead. But I don't so it became an irritating thing for me especially when I realized I spent most of my time in my mail!!!

And today I just found out that I'm still the vice for Netball Club. Oh great! I thought Netball Club is dead like centuries ago and now what, the pres suddenly came up with the idea of 'reforming' the club and I don't have a choice but to stay and help.

WONDERFUL!!! I'm so gonna fail my final projects man!

Very Wrong Thing to SAY!

Had dinner with my family just now..
Was discussing about teeth, yes teeth and my mom wants me to put on braces. Then my neighbour was curious on why our teeth are all not neat.
Then I replied, "My mom didn't take good care of our teeth when we were young. I think she only started brushing our teeth when we were 3 or 4." Come to think of it, I don't know why I can remember such things at the age of 3 or 4. Probably it was my dream or imagination. But then, my sister had the same thought.
My mom responded immediately, "Nonsense!! I everytime brush your teeth even when you were very young. I took good care of your teeth. All 3 of you the same!"
I replied, "Ha... I think I need to do go do my things..."
She continued while I walked into the kitchen, "Wa your teeth like that you put the blame on me la. You yourself never take good care of it. Next time ah if your husband no good then you blame on me la!" blablabla and the nagging continues..
How I responded? I said, "Oops, I lit up a fire and it's spreading. Someone help to put off the fire," and I ran up to my room leaving my sister changing topic to "What am I going to study after STPM?"
Not long after that, my sister joined me in our room, saying that my mom chase her up, asking her to, "go apply, apply, apply..."
Now what, now we're both stuck in our room...

The Devil, The God, The Ghost and The Cat

I know I've been mia for a month! It's so not like me but I was really extremely busy until the extent that I DON'T HAVE TIME TO BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I owe you guys an apology, please stay loyal to my blog...

I was really busy with assignments both Mass Comm Research and Advertising Campaign, having assignments due every week and also presentationsss besides busy managing my dodgeball team and my part time job. Anyway I wasn't the only one who is often doing last minute work or doing work till late night. Yang and I gave a few categories and a few names for these people, discussing who is the devil, the god, the ghost and the cat, after doing a night long's assignment (till 7am, without sleeping), we decided to talk some crap...

Those who are always sleeping late and never early (based on msn and online status):
The cat aka ye mao (in Mandarin, night cat)- those who sleeps between 12-1am, quite healthy lifestyle
Ng Jian Ling
Angeline Ng

The ghost aka ye gui (night ghost)- those who definitely sleep after 1am but before 3am, only can do work at night
Block B 13A-06
Lim Kuan Peng
Yong Su Cheng

The God aka shen- sleeping after 3am and before 6am, those who thinks they're god, they need very little sleep because they have too much to do
Me (of course)
Eunice Au
Block C 20-08
Gan Seng Kean

And of course there's the devil aka mo wang (devil king)- NO NEED to sleep AT ALL!!! Cause they have endless energy but in fact their looks always betray them, the worst stage, no cure...
CHONG HAN LONG (forever awake and on msn 38 other ppl's stuff)

There you go!! Anyone I missed out?? Oh ya of course there are people who are so healthy that they have to sleep before 12am...
Tan Tuan King
Loong Wai Ting

Hope my list is correct..will blog more as soon as I'm free ;)
