The Perfect One

The perfect one is THE ONE...
who understands,
who cares 24/7,
who tolerates,
who accepts who you are NO MATTER WHAT,
who knows EVERYTHING about you,
and probably more than you would know about yourself,
who will NEVER forget a single thing about you,
but ALWAYS remembers about you...

That day I saw rainbow in the sky...
It was a rare thing to see,
A perfect day indeed to have found the perfect one

Thank you for walking into my life, the perfect one :)

What I did Last Sem

Finally I had the time to clear my old stuff; it has been stacking there for ages on my table. Midway clearing them, I found out my little notebook which I used it for the entire last semester. I felt I had a really busy final semester by seeing all the scribbles and little notes I made throughout discussions, brainstorming etc.

First was my wish to manage Dodgeball Club properly and to make it as active and well known as I could. Immediately when semester starts, there came the Inter-faculty Competition where Dodgeball Club participated too. It wasn’t easy asking people to join especially when this club and this game was a stranger to everyone. Not only I need to get my own committed members to help out, I also need people to join, promote about Dodgeball, attending meetings and also organize the entire league. In the middle of preparing this big league, there was Clubs’ Day, assignments started to pop up, my Japanese classes started, Chinese New Year around the corner, busy researching and planning for my graduation holiday, and because of vacation, I needed extra money to travel and hence working part time job in ScienceTech (teach primary students basic science theory and apply them in making simple toys).

I had so much to do so little time left. Thank god with many committed members’ help, the league managed to get 9 teams and ended smoothly. Dodgeball became more familiar since then. I considered as a good kick off. But things did not end just like that. Navid and I kept thinking about ways to promote Dodgeball, we designed posters and videos to attract people. On the other hand, there were some activities from the Malaysian Dodgeball Association (MAD), and was consistently bugged by a guy named Ian, such as appreciation dinner, their Campus Dodgeball League, charity competition etc. I was pretty much the middle person for UCSI and MAD. Getting our own sets of balls did not come easy and dealing with Ian was frustrating enough. Besides weekly training, there came Earth Hour event and Bunkasai Night. We had a total of three big and two small events in just three months’ time.

Besides giving whole heartedly for Dodgeball Club, these few things took turns in my daily schedule- the never ending assignments (weekly presentation for Ad Camp), Japanese revision and classes, work (every Saturday), planning for vacation and of course, splitting some of the time to my beloved friends and family.

Toward the end of March, I only realized I was handling too much. I stop my part time job; quit my Dodgeball Club as president, and slowly letting off all Dodgeball stuff to the new members, just to concentrate on my final projects. TWO FINAL PROJECTS!! How can I not giving full attention to it?

At the end of the day, I managed to get some extra money for travelling and went to Taiwan with three other friends for almost two weeks; I managed to build up my Dodgeball Club and now it has a profit of a hundred over (dream came true); I managed to get very high marks for my Japanese third level test; managed to pass my subjects and I must say, I got quite high marks but a little not up to satisfaction but that’s ok cause I knew I did not put maximum effort in it…

The only thing I did not do is to have a nice birthday celebration. But that’s ok too cause I have friends and family who remembered my day. Come to think of it, I have no idea how I managed to pull it through the final semester… but I’m happy enough that I made used of my final time in college to the maximum :)

By the way, after Taiwan’s trip, I rushed off to Batu Pahat for another holiday trip. Then, I was busy meeting up with friends, spending time with my family, giving out souvenirs, unpacking my travel stuff etc. And now, I’m left with two months’ internship which means not much resting for me. Zzzzzz…

Decision made

Finally realized that the decisions I've made and things I do is not only about me, myself and I...
Certain decisions made cannot be rewinded back. What if there's wrong decisions? You'll only have to hope for its best and never regret.

What's so fearful about it? Wrong decisions and wrong doings?
The result and the outcome is what people fear- dissatisfaction, injuries...
But I strongly believe what people fear most is the unknown...
Not knowing what it is,
Not knowing how will it be,
Not knowing what happens next...
This applies in everything

I'm still in the process of learning to make right decisions and do the right thing...
Let's hope for its best since it's a no turning back, shall we?

Intermediate I Result

Basically was saying that I got high marks for my Japanese Intermediate I despite I did not really answered well in my oral test. I kept asking the teacher to repeat... She was kind enough to repeat over and over again and making sure that I gave the right answer. So I guess that was why she gave me full marks for my oral test and a total of 95 marks after adding my written test. I was really happy cause for the first time I got such high marks and am still maintaining my grade A :)

Leon and Me

A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb...
Give them your heart and he'll give you his...
Adopted from the movie "Marley and Me", based on best-selling 1st person-narrative autobiographical book written by a journalist about his miserable days with his uncontrollable dog who is ever so hungry, ever so active and ever so crazy.

It portrayed much of my dog but not to the extent like the labrador in the movie. I noticed grey hair started growing around his mouth and around his body. It recalls me of this movie.

I wonder... what will happen if he leaves us one day...

Have you ever been in love?

Nice song by Westlife

In morning light
Half awake and half asleep
Have you ever laid there thinking
Was it all a dream?
But you reach out and she's there
Every moment, everywhere
Have you ever been in love?

Have you ever felt
How far a heart can fall
Have you ever stayed up waiting
For a telephone call
Just to hear her say hello
Cause you miss each other so
Have you ever been in love?

Have there been times to laugh
And times you really want to cry
Finding reasons to believe her
cause you'd die a little if she lied
And when in times of doubt
Have you ever tried to work it out
But still she leaves you wondering
What it's all about

And when she's far away
Have you ever felt the need to stray
And tried and then discovered
It just doesn't pay
Cause with her, you can be true
And with her, you can be you
Have you ever been in love?

Have there been times to laugh
And times you really want to cry
Finding reasons to believe her
Cause you'd die a little if she lied
And when in times of doubt
Have you ever tried to work it out
But still she leaves you wondering
What its all about

And when the night comes down
Can you call your house a home
Do you dream you're still together
And wake up alone
Have you ever been in love
The way that I'm in love
Have you ever been in love?
Have you ever been in love?

The Camel Slippers

When I received the birthday present from my mom, immediately I knew it must be the Camel slippers my mom mentioned to me and insisted on when I said I didn't want a Camel slippers as I know they're expensive and I had plenty of flipflop or slippers. I knew it through the rectangular shape of the present and also the weight but she still ask me not to guess anymore and open it as if I didn't know...

Yes, it was a pair of Camel slippers INDEED. I tried it on and it was a bit too big for my feet. My sister tried and they fit hers, so now my birthday present is hers and hers will be mine. I'll have to wait till May then... and I told my mom that no more Camel slippers. She thought I didn't want Camel brand, so she said, "I'll buy you other brand's slippers ya..."

Oh well, life goes on... you'll still need to accept things that you don't want...
